i designed this crown for Kiki after she said what colors and basically told me “go crazy”

i didn’t know the look until day of the shoot and bc I trust her art and style, i didn’t demand to see any clothes beforehand 🤣

the result… immeasurable flyness that can be attributed to mutually trusting one another’s vision 🤩🙌🏾🔥

here’s a glimpse of the notes that helped during my years of pivoting throughout various creative processes. i hope this helps you on your journey 🤗💜

1- inspiration happens. it will find you, even when you are not looking. you cannot force it.

2- ideation only thrives where freedom is granted. ease any tension, intimidation, or nervousness about your ideas. you’ll learn how to make it make sense over time.

3- implementation: DO THE WORK! as in all the work. research. experiment. exhaust all options in seeing your project through.

4- reflection: who or what is your creation for? is your purpose clearly defined? how will you move forward? what did you learn? how can you quantify your growth?

✨💜 this is why it’s pivotal to keep a journal to document the intimate details alongside your finished projects!!

stress about life’s unpredictably 😅 you should not!

take it from me, after recently obtaining another certification to further my coaching, the seamstress and design opportunities came funneling in… abundantly. there’s only but so many hours in a day, what does one do?

lean into your passions.
listen to your intuition.
avoid stress in every way possible.
BE PRESENT. stay focused.
embrace the seasons and cycles of creative process.
